The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) was set up by the government to encourage the uptake of renewable energy use and to enable the UK to reach its carbon reduction targets.
It works by giving a financial incentive to move away from fossil fuels.
The RHI scheme is run by OFGEM and more information can be found at www.ofgem.gov.uk/environmental-programmes To receive RHI payments the heating product has to pass an RHI emissions certificate. At R & I Cruden we only install high quality products that comply with the latest RHI ofgem regulations. All installations below 45kW must be MCS approved.
RHI tariffs are reviewed every quarter so act now.
