Commercial Plumbing and Mechanical Works
The Project
Overlooking the Caledonian Canal and River Ness, the grounds of The Kings Golf Club are rich with Scottish history. As part of the ongoing development of Torvean Golf Course and the surrounding area, the construction of the new Kings Club was completed in 2019.
From beginning to completion of the project, Ri Cruden were responsible for the supply and installation of all plumbing and mechanical requirements. Given the scale and purpose of the building, the construction required a full plumbing and mechanical installation from hot and cold water system to sanitary ware and drainage.

The Works
Ri Cruden supplied and installed 2no. Mitsubishi 14kW Ecodan air source heat pumps in cascade with associated buffer tank to supply hot water and space heating. The air source heat pumps were installed in conjunction with a new Joules underfloor heating system throughout the building.
A 6kW 3 phase solar PV system was supplied and installed to allow The Kings Club to generate their own electricity and reduce future electricity costs. The solar PV system and air source heat pump provide the build with renewable energy solutions, a project requirement identified preconstruction.
