Ri Cruden is delighted to continue its partnership with the Camanachd Association and Scottish shinty, sponsoring the Scotland Under-17 squad for the Tour of Ireland this July.

It’s a relationship we have been proud to grow over the years. With shinty running strong throughout our organisation, we are incredibly proud of the partnership we have built, and, most importantly, of the support we are able to provide for the boys.

Speaking about the partnership, Greg Matheson, our Mechanical Contracts Manager – and a keen shinty fan himself — said:

“This will be our fourth year supporting the Scotland U17s on their Tour of Ireland, and it has become a proud tradition for us. We’re delighted to be behind the squad once again. Backing the next generation is at the heart of what we do at Ri Cruden, it’s the same belief that drives our apprenticeship programme and seeing our logo on the strips as these young players take the field makes us genuinely proud.”

This sort of commitment to the next generation runs through everything we do. Our apprenticeship programme currently supports almost 30 young people building careers in mechanical, electrical and renewable sectors across the Highlands,  you can find out more on our social media channels.

The whole team at Ri Cruden will be cheering the squad on from home, and we wish all the players the very best of luck. The squad travels over the Irish sea on Sunday 26th July, taking part in training and cultural activities before facing Dublin at their home stadium Parnell Park on Monday 27th at 19.30 and taking on Meath on Tuesday 28th. Follow the tour on the Camanachd Association’s social channels, where they will be sharing updates from Ireland.
