The Reason.

John Clark Motor Group had high electricity costs and a net zero target to reduce direct carbon emissions. looking to bring down running costs amidst the electricity costs rising. A solar PV Installation was their best solution for this.

Our team at work on the solar PV Installation.

The solution:

A 310 -panel on roof solar PV installation with a total of 127.10 kWp and 50kWh containerised battery storage with 50kW charge and discharge. The battery storage captures excess solar generation during the day to be offset at night – it also allows the customer to charge from the grid during off peak rates. A SolarEdge PV system was selected due to its increased efficiency with panel optimisation and 20 year extended warranty option.

Audi Dundee now enjoy 28% reduction in electricity costs and save over 24 tonnes of carbon per year.
